Care and Living Options

Monte Rosa is home to both independent residents and those who require additional care. Care is provided in different areas of the home, including a dedicated dementia ward, to ensure residents receive appropriate support.

Why families choose Monte Rosa

Monte Rosa’s central location makes it easier for children and family members who live or work in the city to visit regularly and remain closely involved.

From the moment families walk into the building, many feel a sense of reassurance and familiarity. For some, Monte Rosa is already a known place, where parents or other family members have lived before and been well cared for.

Families also value the friendly staff and the way residents are treated with care and respect. Over time, this becomes even more evident as staff get to know residents and support them in their daily lives

Accommodation Options

Monte Rosa offers a range of accommodation options to suit different care needs. These include single rooms in independent living, as well as single and shared rooms in frail care and the dementia ward.

From 1 March 2026, single rooms with en-suite bathrooms will also be available.

Residents are welcome to personalise their rooms, and many families choose to bring familiar furniture, pictures, and personal belongings to help create a comfortable and familiar space.
